Integrating Library Resources into LMS

This guide will show you how to find, link to, and otherwise make use of the most appropriate library resources for your online teaching in LMS.

Linking to a Specific Article

You can provide a direct link to a newspaper, magazine or journal article you find in any of the DGIST research databases in LMS.

This page will provide you with the options available to you and how to create the link for easy access on and off campus.

To provide off campus access to research articles you must pre-append the URL link with proxy address:

http://libproxy.dgist.ac.kr/_Lib_Proxy_Url/

Linking to Articles With DOIs

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are unique identifiers for journal articles. Many of our article databases and electronic journals include DOIs as part of the data describing each article. The image below shows a DOI for an article from ScienceDirect.

In order to create a link using a DOI that will work from off-campus the DOI must be preceded by the following:

http://libproxy.dgist.ac.kr/_Lib_Proxy_Url/

The full URL for the article above is:

http://libproxy.dgist.ac.kr/_Lib_Proxy_Url/https://doi.org/10.1016/j.aap.2021.106349

Always test your link from on and off-campus.
